Psalm 69:6b – He (God) leads the prisoners out to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

Rebellion – What does rebellion mean? Refusal to come under the authority of someone who is above you; open resistance. In Biblical
terms, it almost always refers to man rebelling against God.

God HATES rebellion!

Many people rebelled in the Bible, and paid a great price for doing so. I will name a few.

Moses rebelled and was not allowed to enter into the land of promise.

David was not allowed to build God’s Temple because he had the blood of too many people on his hands. Let’s lsiten to what God says to him in 1 Chronicle 22:8 – But this word of the LORD came to me: ‘You have shed much blood and have fought many wars. You are not to build a house for my Name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.

1 Samuel 13-16 chapters – Saul was removed from being king and the Holy Spirit withdrew from him. King Saul rebelled against God’s authority to kill all of Israel’s enemies including the king and every live stock. Because of his rebellion Saul found himself in a dry place. Separated from God!!! The bible says that the “Spirit of God left Saul and an EVIL spirit came upon him.”

Jonah was swallowed by a great big fish because of rebellion!

Where has rebellion against God or His authority landed you on this morning?

Are you rebelling against God today? If you are, I know without a doubt that you have found yourself in a dry place because of it. God’s Word declares it.

Here are a few scriptures in the bible concerning what God says about rebellion.

Isaiah 63:10 – But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; therefore He turned to become their enemy and Himself fought against them.(

Psalms 107:10-11 declares – Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness,
prisoners suffering in iron chains, 11 because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High.

1 Samuel 12:14-15 – If you fear the LORD and serve and obey him and do not rebel against his commands, and if both you and the king who reigns over you follow the LORD your God—good! 15 But if you do not obey the LORD, and if you rebel against his commands, his hand will be against you, as it was against your ancestors.

Isaiah 1:19-20- If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; 20- but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

Isaiah 30:1 declares – Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me;

Nehemiah 9:26 declares – Those who commit rebellion will be delievered into the hands of your enemies.

And in our text today – Psalm 68:6 – The rebellious dwell in a dry land.

When we hear the word rebellion, many thoughts come to mind of chaos, revolt and people who are acting in a disorderly manner.

When we make a decision to rebel against leadership, especially God’s leadership and authority, we set ourselves up for failure. God honors those who honor Him and His authority.

Scripture declares that those who honors God are like prisoners that are lead out of prison into prosperity! In other words, when we go along with the plan and will of God for our lives, we prosper!

We live in a world where rebellion and lawlessness is normal. People seems to have no problem with this type of behavior. It has become a way of life and acceptable to man. As a matter of fact, it is often encouraged by some.

In our text in Psalm 68:6 God gives us the consequences of being rebellious. It says, “the rebellious dwell in a dry land.” To dwell in a “dry land” is to live a life that is marked by spiritual and natural “drought.” One who is dead to the “Spirit” of God that brings life!

From a spiritual view, this means the blessing, divine wisdom, and supernatural power of God is missing in your life, which eventually leads to destruction of your life. Numbers 16 give us a clear picture of God’s judgment on the children of israel as a result of God’s judgment for their rebellion against Him. READ IT IN YOUR SPARE TIME!

God give us an example of the soul of a lost man. One who willfully chose to rebel against God and His authority. The man who rebells against the love and goodness of God and refuses to have relationship with God. He dwells in a dry land and his end is Spiritual death. Eternal separation from God.

Rebellion is taking place in just about every area of life. I will name a few: Against parent/children relationships, against marriages, against people in authority-either in Church or the work place, etc. Rebellion is seen everywhere and of course, everyday!

Sad to say, there are people who have no problem challenging the leadership in these areas of life. Rebellion can be in the form of words or deeds.

The whole message of the Gospel, is that God wants to redeem and restore relationship with fallen man through the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ. Without God, we are nothing! God is the True Vine and if we are in Him, We are the branches! Apart from Him, we dwell in a dry land. In other words, WE DIE SPIRITUALLY!!! A branch can not live apart from the trunk of the tree on it’s own, it eventually dies!

Regardless of all the riches you may have accumulated for yourself in this life, none of it is enough to fill your heart with the peace of knowing that you are really not alone!

The rebellious dwell in a dry land. What a scary and horrible place to find yourself in.

We will never have rest or peace as long as we are comfortable in our sins and refuse to turn from them through rebellion against God.

According to John 16:8 We have help-(Holy Spirit). And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment.

Hopefully, we will receive the help of the Holy Spirit’s conviction of our rebellion and turn back to God and His authority in our lives.

As Christians, we must keep the eternal perspective in view! Everything here on earth is temporary.

Rebellion is a open door for the enemy to wreck havoc in your life.
God’s Word is clear that rebellion is a great way to find yourself in dry land spiritually.

Rebellion shuts a person’s ears from being able to hear God when He tries to speak to them. Romans 10:17 declares that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Without God’s Word, we eventually die a spiritual death and end up in a dry land. A place of separation from God now and in eternity!

If you have been rebellious, STOP! Forsake your rebellion and turn to the Lord. Repent of your ways so that ye may find grace and mercy in time of need.

Rebellion is an open door to satan’s forces of evil to run rampant in your life. God’s Word warns us that rebellion darkens your spiritual eyesight (discernment), and it deafens your ears to hear God’s voice.

REMEMBER: THOSE WHO DISOBEY AND REBEL AGAINST GOD WILL END UP IN A DRY LAND, SEPARATED FROM GOD! IS THIS A PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

IF NOT, NOW IS THE TIME TO REPENT AND TURN BACK TO GOD!!

Which will you choose on today? To rebel or to obey?

The bible declares that obedience is better than sacrifice.

GOD BLESS AND DO TELL THE LORD THANK YOU FOR A SPIRIT OF OBEDIENCE ON THIS MORNING!

I LOVE YOU ALL WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST.

1 Timothy 4:1 – The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

DECEIVE – (of a person) Cause (someone) to believe something that is not true, typically in order to gain some personal advantage.

DECEPTION – the act of deceiving or the state of being deceive; something that deceives; trick.

GOOD MORNING GOD’S PEOPLE! AFTER READING AN ARTICLE ON YESTERDAY ABOUT A YOUNG MAN WHO CONFESSED TO HAVE BEEN A CHRISTIAN WHO WAS ONCE ACTIVE IN MINISTRY FOR THE LORD THROUGH DAILY TEACHING OF GOD’S WORD ON SUNDAYS, DOING MISSION WORK ON THE STREETS AND ABROAD, I WAS HEART BROKEN AT HOW THE ENEMY HAS USED THIS YOUNG MAN TO THE POINT OF MAKING HIM TURN AWAY FROM THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL WHICH HE ONCE CONFESSED TO HAVE BELIEVE AND TAUGHT WITH PASSION.

I know without a doubt that this is the work of satan in this young man’s life. 1 Timothy 4:1 declares in God’s word that – The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

WE ARE TRULY LIVING IN PERILOUS TIMES! If there ever was a time to continually seek God through prayer and His Word, the time is NOW!
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT!!!

We are warned in 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

Every Christian has an enemy. Although unseen by the natural eye, this adversary satan, the Devil, is a real person. He is a spirit being, with intelligence. According to John 10:10 satan’s goal and ambition is to “steal, kill, and destroy” US, (Christians).

Even though the enemy has a plan to destroy us, God has a plan to “SAVE” us from his deceitful devices if we choose Christ as our Savior! In John 10:10-b Jesus declares these words for why He came-He says that “He came that we may have life and have it more abundantly.”

Around the clock the enemy is on the prowl, seeking to cause mayhem and destruction to all believers and the work of Jesus Christ throughout the world.

Believe it or not, the devil is wrecking havoc on the minds of MANY people today. We must get grounded and rooted in God’s Word so that we may know what God says concerning day to day living and the deceit of the enemy! Too many so called Christians are falling by the way side.

I BEG, URGE AND PLEA TO YOU ON TODAY. LOOKING BACK IS NOT WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO! WHY? IT MAY COST YOU YOUR LIFE AND YOUR FUTURE!

In this text, Paul is warning Timothy(a young pastor in the Gospel) about how in these last and evil days, how the enemy will cause many to depart from the faith. They will give heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, turning away from the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and turning aside to the lies of the enemy.

In 2 Peter 2:1-2 Peter warned of false teachers in these last days who will bring in destructive heresies, whom many will follow.

Jude warned in Jude chapters 3-4 that false teachers have crept into the church unnoticed. They have also crept among us in our families, our work places, schools and in our homes who are denying God and Jesus Christ.

These things are truly signs of us living in “the last hour.”
I Know I may sound foolish to some of you, but read the signs that God has given us in Matthew 24. Yes, no one knows the day nor the hour, but Jesus is coming back!!!! Will you be ready, or will you be unprepared because of deceiving spirits?

Genesis 19:26 – Lot’s wife is a good example for all of us to take notice of concerning “Looking Back!” This is a piece from a post that I posted on June 23, 2011.

Many people often find themselves looking back or turning back to their old way of living once God has delivered them from it. In coming to Christ, He commands us to “take up our cross and follow Him”, “press forward to the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, “Remember the former things no more” and in our text, “do not look back”.

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah gives us a clear picture of the potential evil that can consume a person’s heart. There are many valuable lessons to be learned about the consequences of allowing the world to enter our hearts as it did the family of Lot. Not only did Lot’s family live in Sodom – Sodom lived in Lot’s family. That was the problem!

Lot’s family had been consumed by the sin that was all around them. When the angel came to Lot and told him they had to leave, they were reluctant to flee evil. They loved it so much that they did not want to leave it behind. The angels literally had to lead Lot and his family by the hand out of Sodom.

Today, God is calling Christians to flee the evils of this world; fornication, idolatry, the love of money and self, lust and on and on.

What we must understand as Christians is when we leave the pleasures of this old world behind us and move into salvation, we are no longer condemn, we are no longer on the road to everlasting punishment, the misery and consequences of our sin is forgiven. Romans 8:1 declares that there is therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. Once you have accepted Jesus the Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are no longer condemned. LET THE DEVIL TAKE THAT!!!!

If we are reluctant to leave the things of the world behind us, we will suffer eternally. We will be horrified and regretful once we transition from earth to eternity! You will have all your senses in eterity. Read the story of the Lazarus and the beggar in Luke 16 starting at verse # 19. This is proof that we will have all our senses in eternity. READ IT FOR YOURSELF!

What earthly pleasures are trying to draw you on today? What is it that is trying to make you look back? What is it that is trying to convince you that doing what is says is more important than obeying God? What is it? Call it out and rebuke it in the Name of Jesus!!! Command it to leave your mind by the power and authority which has been given unto you in the Name of Jesus Christ, which is the name above all names on earth and in Heaven.

Lot’s wife reminds us on today of the consequences of looking back. God told Lot’s family not to look back at the wicked city, but Lot’s wife, being so consumed with love for that sinful city had purposed in her heart that it was better to obey her fleshly desires than to obey God and her glance back was fatal.Through the eyes of lust, she wanted one more look-it was one look too many. That last look took her life.

God is calling every human being into remembrance of Lot’s wife on today. We need to remember Lot’s wife when we are tempted to allow the pleasures of this world to draw us back.

God’s Word declares this morning in 1 John 2:15-17—-Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

The false security of the ungodly exposed Lot and his family to sudden destruction and judgment, and that same false security can expose anyone of us today.

Remember Lot’s wife, she had her mind set on earthly things and as a result of her disobedience, she turned to a pillar of salt.

Remember means to keep in mind, keep in memory, always thoughtful of.

If we remember Lot’s wife, it will help us escape willful sin and avoid eternal death. Do not look back, put all ties with your sinful past behind you. Escape into the mountain (Salvation in Christ Jesus) or be consumed. There is a place of refuge in Christ. Will you consider him on today??

There are several learning tips I want to leave for all of us on today, including myself. Things we can learn from Lot’s wife.

God’s commands are plain, simple and easily understood. Leave alone the pleasures and desires of this sinful and wicked world, Come to Christ. Its very easy. Romans 10:9 makes it very plain-Confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

It takes faith and courage to do God’s will. It takes faith and courage to leave the world of sinful pleasures behind, to leave behind those who love the pleasures of this world more than they love God. Regardless of who they may be; i.e. friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, etc.

To live for God, you must leave behind all for the sake of Christ. Not physical abandonment, but Spiritually. You must have a made up mind that God means more to you than anything or anyone. Put him first. Matthew 6:33-seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things would be added unto you.

We are boldly called into accountability in Johsua 24:15—-But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve.

Matthew 6:24 boldly sates that “No one can serve two masters. He will hate the first master and love the second, or he will be devoted to the first and despise the second. You cannot serve God and wealth.

You have a decision to make on today. To look forward or to look back. Which will it be for you? BEWARE OF DECEIVING SPIRITS!

Lot’s wife did part of what God said. She left the city, but she looked back. She might as well have stayed because her heart was still there. She convinced herself that she was at least doing part of what God has commanded her to do; obeying the command to leave, but disobeying the command not to look back.

We must keep our eyes on Christ and Heaven, which is our goal. Do not turn back to the world and all its temporary pleasures. Punishment is swift, certain and inescapable. We must run to safety while we have a chance. BEWARE OF DECEIVING SPIRITS!!!

Ungodly entertainment, alcohol, drugs, fornication and every form of evil must be looked down upon if you confess Christ. As Christians, we can no longer look at sin as entertainment. It is what it is, “SIN” and it is not pleasing in the eyes of God.

God’s Word declares in Proverbs 26:11 —-Like a dog going back to his vomit, so is the foolish man doing his foolish acts over again. In other words, a man that returns to his sinful way of living is like a dog returning to eat his vomit. How sick is that? This is the description of one who decides on their own to leave the presence of God to enter back in to the sins and pleasures of this wicked world.

Remember Lot’s wife. Do not look back, flee to safety or be consumed.
BE WARE OF DECEIVING SPIRITS!!

YOU WILL MEET MANY AS YOU DEPART YOUR HOMES THIS MORNING TO GO OUT INTO THE WORLD!! BEWARE!!

I wonder which will you choose on today? To Live or to Die? Lot’s wife chose death!!

GOD BLESS AND TELL THE LORD THANK YOU!!!!!

Malachi 3:6 says, “For I am the Lord, I do not change.” Old Testament
Hebrew 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. New Testament.

AN UNCHANGING GOD IN A CHANGING WORLD!!!

Here is our old and new Testament promise from our God who changes NOT! His Word has not changed! It will not return to Him void, but it shall go forth and accomplish that which He hath sent it to do, according to Isaiah 55:11! WE CAN SHOUT RIGHT THERE!!!

Oh what great news God has given us on this morning! WHAT A GREAT PROMISE GOD HAS SENT FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH THIS MORNING! “HE CHANGES NOT!” Say that to yourself right now – ‘MY GOD CHANGES NOT!”
We can rest right there!

In a ever changing world, it is more than comforting to know that we have a never changing God. Even though everything around us changes from day to day, Our God never changes.

We encounter change every day of our life. That is the nature of life. We find it unpleasant and intimidating at times. We would rather keep things the way they always were because the old and the familiar are more secure and comfortable, like an old shoe, suit, pocketbook or dress. But those things wear out and need to be replaced, as does most everything else in life. So we struggle to adjust to change.

We grow and we strive to better ourselves, and that is change. Attitudes of people change, technology changes, our income changes, relationship changes, our health changes, our status changes, our address changes, our interest changes, our views on life and it’s issues changes, our mood changes, some times from happy to sad, mad to glad and on and on, we encounter change. Change is the nature of life!

Sometimes our sense of well-being fail us; we lose our health, our loved ones, our money, or our material possessions, and that is change. Our bodies begin to wear out; we can no longer do the things we used to do, and that is change that is inevitable.

Is there anything unchanging that we can hold on to in a world where everything is changing by the moment? YES, we can hold on to God’s \Unchanging Hands. His Word declares that He changes not! GOOD GOD AMIGHTY!!

Change for God is impossible. He is neither capable of nor susceptible to change. And that makes sense. WHY? God cannot change for the better because He is already perfect. And He cannot change for the worse, for then He would be imperfect and would therefore no longer be God.

Humans sometimes have a tendency to believe that God changes, especially when they experience circumstances that are contrary to God’s Word, but on today, scripture clearly comforts us with this promise from God. “God says that He Change not. He is the same yesterday, today and forever!”

If you take God’s promises as truth in your life on today that He changes not, you can and will find rest, peace, comfort, joy unspeakable and stability in an unstable world. Regardless of what is happening to you,in you or around you, you serve a God that is never changing! God declares in His Word to us on today that “He does not change!” The question becomes – Do you believe that?

In spite of what we may want to believe, we are changing. We are either growing or dying, progressing or regressing, stronger or weaker, closer to God or farther from Him. We must change!
2 Corinthians 5:17 declares – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! This change is good for us. I am not what I used to be. I am no longer the same! There is now way that you can encounter the LIVING GOD and remain the same, it just WON’T HAPPEN! Jesus changed me and I thank My God for that! I am a new creation in Christ Jesus! THANK YOU LORD!!!

God clearly says to us on today these words: “For I am the Lord, I do NOT change.” The word He used for “Lord” is “Jehovah.” “I am Jehovah. I am God. I am the One who has all you need. I never change.”

Our God is always the same. “ALWAYS” – God is always truth, always wise, always Sovereign, always good, always just, always merciful, always Holy, always gracious, always, always loving and kind, always God! He changes not! God’s ability to provide and meet our needs never changes. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are never changing.

Whatever it is that you are going through on today, know that God is always God. He never changes, His Word never changes, His promises concerning you never changes, He will never leave you nor forsake you; lo, He is with you always even unto the end! God never Changes. He can not change.

You may have awaken this morning to a changed situation than that which you went to bed with last night. You may have found yourself this morning, wondering if God has changed His mind concerning you. But guess what? You can rest assured that Your God changes not! His plans for your life has not changed. Circumstances or situations in our lives can not change God’s plan nor His promises for our lives! He is God and He changes not!

If you are alive and able to read this blog, God has spoken concerning your this morning. His plan and purpose for your life is not complete. It takes change in our lives to bring about His purpose and plan, but those changes in us does not change who He is or what He can and is able to do!

Problems and circumstances of life can not stand a chance against an Unchanging God! You can rest assured with that!! IN OTHER WORDS, YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK OF SAFETY AND SECURITY IN JESUS!!!

Our God is still willing and able to hear and answer our prayer. There is nothing too hard for our God! Will you give it to Him on today? He is still able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or think according to the power that worketh in us!

In an ever-changing world, He is a never-changing God. There never was a time when He was not; there never will come a time when He shall cease to be. He is Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End! God has neither evolved, grown, nor improved. All that He is today, He has ever been, and ever will be.

God affirms in His Word to us on today in Malachi 3:6 – “I am the Lord, I change not!” .

The next time you are tempted to allow the enemy to make you feel discouraged, stop and think for a moment. No matter what else changes around you, God in all His greatness, might and majesty will NEVER change.

The Word of God Is Unchanging. Psalm 119:89 declares – “Forever, O LORD, Thy word is settled in heaven.”

That is not true of our word. We often change our minds about things and find that we can no longer honor what we said in the past. Sometimes we say things we do not mean or we say things which later prove to be wrong and which must be retracted. But when God speaks it is always true. He never speaks in error. He never changes His mind. He never said anything He was sorry for or had to take back. His Word is settled and unchanging.

I LEAVE YOU WITH THIS PROMISE ON THIS MORNING: FROM GOD TO YOU!
Malachi 3:6 says, “For I am the Lord, I do not change.”
Hebrew 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Isaiah 40:8 declares – The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever!

GOD BLESS AND DO TELL THE LORD THANK YOU FOR BEING A GOD THAT NEVER CHANGES!

I love you all with the love of Christ.

Psalm 9:10- – Those who know Your name will “TRUST” in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

In our lesson on yesterday, God commanded us to “TRUST HIM!”

On today, we are challenge with the questions from the Lord “WILL YOU “TRUST” ME?” In other words, God is asking us “Do you really believe that I will do what I say I will do?” “Do you really believe that?” Are you willing to let go of everything that you see and feel and “TRUST” me? Are you willing? WILL YOU “TRUST ME?”

On this morning, God is inviting each of us to place our “TRUST” in Him.

If you have heard God’s plea to “TRUST HIM” on today, then put your faith into action and make a difference with your life for the kingdom of God. God alone is worthy of our “TRUST!”

If we could take inventory of our lives from where God has brought us from to where we are now, we can truly say that God “HAS BEEN GOOD!” We have been blessed so much to the point that many have lost their focus and touch between the gifts and the Giver. Because of those blessings and gifts, their focus have moved from “TRUSTING IN GOD” to “TRUSTING” in self. OH, what a dangerous place to be!

Jesus said in Mark 8:35 – “If you try to keep your life for yourself you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake? You will find true life”.

Is there something you lack faith in with God? What is it that you need to lay on God’s altar? What situation or circumstance that you are dealing with that God is telling you to “TRUST ME?” What is it?
If you truly need help and want help in living this Christian life that God has called you to, it starts with putting your faith in Him and “TRUSTING” Him. Taking Him at His Word, believing what He says to be true, believing that if He said it, He will bring it to pass.
Numbers 23:19 – God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Believe it or not, God is truly the only one that we can “TRUST!”
I know many of us through our years have put our trust and confidence in others to only find out later that they have disappointed or hurt us in one way or another because they were not who we thought they were or who we wanted them to be! God will never disappoint you! You can “TRUST” Him on today!

Abraham believed God, he “TRUSTED” God, he took God at His Word, even to the point offering up his son Isaac as a sacrifice if that was what God wanted him to do. What lengths are you willing to go to prove your faith and “TRUST” in God?

James 2:23 declares – And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.

Faith is making the commitment to “TRUST” God, regardless of our condition. Faith gives us the courage to take action. God is asking us this morning if we will “TRUST” Him in spite of? In spite of our present situation, in spite of every obstacle that may be coming against us right now, are we willing to ‘TRUST HIM” is the question to be answered on today. WILL YOU “TRUST” GOD? Will you look beyond yourself and your circumstances and see GOD?

Do we really “TRUST” God, or are we just taking a chance with God? which is it? Are we willing to lay everything on the line, taking full confidence in God’s promises to you on this morning?

Do you really “TRUST” God or is it that you are only offering lip services to impress? Are our actions bearing witness to our “TRUST” in God?

Too many times in life people have a tendency to blame others, circumstances or conditions as to the reason why their life is the way it is. When in reality, if the truth be told, a lot of what we go through unnecessarily is because of the fact that we do not fully “TRUST” God to be God in our lives. We try to fix it ourselves and use God as a last resort after making a mess of everything!

We may think we trust God, but when things begin to tighten up why do we complain, get mad, or grumble? Don’t we know that the Almighty God is sovereign? Don’t we know that He knows much more than we do about what is best for our lives? The question for us today is: do we really trust God enough to allow Him to allow His Will to be done in our lives? “TRUST” – GOD ASK “WILL YOU TRUST ME?”

Psalm 37:5 – Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.

Psalm 40:4-5 – 4Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. 5- Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.

Who would not want to “TRUST” a God like that? In Him, we MUST “TRUST!” We have no other to put our “TRUST” in. No one else to look to in our times of sorrow, hurt, pain, anger, disappointment, suffering and on and on. God is the only one we can truly “TRUST!”

We must pray and ask God to show us the way in which He would have us to walk and give us the desire to surrender to our will to His will, believing and “TRUSTING” that He knows what is best for us.

Psalm 143:8 should be our prayer on this morning! Let’s listen to what it says – “Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my TRUST” in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Is this your cry unto the Lord?
GOD IS ASKING YOU “WILL YOU TRUST ME?” If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you have no other choice but to “TRUST” Him and Him alone. He is the Solid Rock! All other ground is sinking sand!

As Christians, we must understand that God has a plan for our lives and we MUST “TRUST” Him to bring that plan to fruition in our lives.

When we put our “TRUST” in God, He always provides. Who do you trust?
GOD ASK “WILL YOU TRUST ME?” In a world as chaotic as the one we live in, “Will you “TRUST” God on today? Will you do it?

Paul prayed 3 times that the thorn in his flesh would be removed, but God intended for that thorn to help keep him from “TRUSTING” in himself; making it easier for him to “TRUST” God. The same with you and I. There is a purpose for all that we go though. It is an opportunity for us to grow spiritual in our faith and learn how to put our “TRUST” in God.

Today I say do not worry, “TRUST” God! A Christian song, prayer and God’s Word will fix it every time. You will be guaranteed an ushering in of the Holy Spirit to assist you! DO YOU “TRUST” HIM?

God is calling us to put our “TRUST” in Him on today!!

WILL YOU “TRUST” HIM? HE IS ASKING YOU-WILL YOU “TRUST ME?”
Have you responded? Are you willing to respond?

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for a mind to know that there is no under under the sun that you can “TRUST” but HIM and HIM alone!!

I love you all with the love of Christ!
WILL YOU “TRUST” HIM ON TODAY? HE IS WAITING TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Psalm 118:8 – It is better to “TRUST” in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

TRUST=(Webster) reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.

TRUST= (BIBLICAL) to have trust or confidence in; rely or depend on.
To believe, to expect confidently or to hope in God.

In a world of so much uncertainties, economic crisis, mortgage crisis, unemployment, fears, anxiety, worry, hurt and pain, I hear God saying “TRUST ME!” Did you hear that? God is saying “TRUST ME!”

As human beings, we have a tendency to place oue trust in something or someone, but in our text on today we are warned that “it is better to put our “TRUST” in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Why God and not man or things, you may ask? Because man will “DECEIVE” you! Everything is temporary! God is eternal! 2Corinthians 4:18- READ IT!

Why should we “TRUST” God? Numbers 23:19 declares that God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

2 Timothy 2:13 declares – If we are faithless, God will remain faithful, for He cannot disown Himself.

What is your source for truth today? Is it trustworthy? Will it protect you from the schemes and lies of the greatest deceiver called satan?

Many people today disregard God’s advice and in their search for truth, still end up putting their trust in man, religious leaders, money, women, children, wealth, material possessions, etc. instead of God.

Every day we make choices. What decision will you make on today? Who Will You “TRUST?” God is saying to you and I, ‘TRUST ME!”

Regardless of how good a man may look, sound, act or appear to be, He or she is no comparison to our God!

It is better to “TRUST” in the Lord than to put confidence in man because God is all powerful. The things which are impossible with man are possible with God. The Lord has promised to show us great and mighty things when we call upon Him. He does great and unsearchable things and marvelous things without number . Therefore we MUST put our “TRUST” in God.

In Jeremiah 17: 5-8 God through the Prophet Jeremiah gives us wise counsel for choosing who to “TRUST.” He said if you put your trust in man you will be cursed like a withered bush in a barren desert. In other words, God through the prophet Jeremiah says our consequences for putting our trust in man is that we are cursed. However, if we put our “TRUST” in God, we will flourish like a tree planted by the water.

God Himself declare these words in Isaiah 55:11- so is MY word that goes out from MY mouth: It will not return to ME empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

The Bible makes it clear that: Who we “TRUST” determines who we belong to. We are either children of the devil John 8:43-45 or we are children of God John 1:12

We live as slaves to sin or as slaves to righteousness. Romans 6:16-18 declares – Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17- But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18-Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

We will spend eternity under the wrath of God or in His loving presence. Who’s servant are you? Where is your “TRUST” on today?

John 3:18 declares – “Whoever believes in Him (Jesus Christ) will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God”.

God has revealed that “TRUSTING” in anything other than Christ and His Word is evidence of deception. Those who choose to follow the traditions, opinions, and philosophies of men will be condemned.

In John 12:48 Jesus declares these words – He that rejects Me, and receive not My words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Contrary to those who reject His Word, Jesus says to those who accept His Words-in John 1:12- But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Are you basing your life and eternal destiny on the eternal truths of God’s Word or on man’s truth? How will you respond to God’s truth on today? Will you “TRUST” it?

We can trust God in times when we are unsure of our way! We can be assured that He will be there to guide and direct us.
Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

If we will commit our ways unto the Lord and “TRUST” Him, He has promised that He would direct our paths.

When we put our “TRUST” in God,Psalms 119:105 declares that- “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Today is the day that we MUST make up our mind to “TRUST” God!
God says His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We are not able to figure everything out in our lives, we must “TRUST” that God is control of every area of our lives. Nothing happens in us, through us or to us without His knowledge.

When is it time to Trust the Lord? NOW IS THE ACCEPTABLE TIME!
Now is the time to put your hope and “TRUST” in the Lord!

In times of Weakness Trust God to be your Strength! In times when we are unsure of our way, “TRUST” God to give us direction! In times when we don’t understand, “TRUST” God!

Jeremiah 17:7 -”Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.

Isaiah 12:2 – Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid.

Ephesians 1: 11-13 “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.”

Psalm 143:8 – Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am “TRUSTING” you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. IS THIS YOUR PRAYER TO GOD ON THIS MORNING?

Have you placed your faith and “TRUST” in God for salvation? If not, I want to encourage you this morning to come to Christ in faith. Trust Him today, before it is too late. He will save you, and He will keep you for all of eternity. It is not our trust that keeps us, but the God in whom we “TRUST” is Who keeps us. Will you “TRUST” Him today?

GOD IS SAYING “TRUST ME!” WILL YOU DO IT? WILL YOU SURRENDER ALL TO HIM ON TODAY BY TRUSTING HIM AND HIM ALONE?

God wants us to trust Him. Moses “TRUSTED” God to deliver the Israelites at the Red Sea. Joseph “TRUSTED” God while he languished in Pharaoh’s prison. David trusted God for a victory when he was facing Goliath. Jonah “TRUSTED” God to answer his prayer in the belly of the fish. Peter and John “TRUSTED” God as they stood before the Sanhedrin and gave their defense of the Christian faith.
The 3 Hebrew boys ‘TRUST” God in the fire furnace, Daniel “TRUSTED” God in the lion’s den. Where is it that you have “TRUSTED” God?

GOD IS SAYING TO YOU ON TODAY “TRUST ME!”

God Bless and do tell the Lord thank you!

I love you all with the love of Christ.
